The last shot of 37194 (showing the No. 1 end) with
47202 in the background. I wasn't going to include this photo but i looked up details of 47202 and couldn't resist. As D1852 (in dual green
livery with yellow warning panels) it entered traffic in June 1965 and went on to become 47202 with the traditional BR Blue standard livery.
In the 1980's it acquired the FR Grey livery (seen above) with large white logo. But just 3 months after this photo was taken (March 1987)
47202 was involved in a collision (with 33032) at Frome in Somerset and was withdrawn into storage, ending up at Bristol Bath Road MPD where it
was eventually cut up in September 1991. |
