37202 runs through Brocklesby station with
a train of steels coils. This loco (originally as D6902) was allocated to Immingham in 1972 and was still one of their fleet when this
photo was taken, 2 years after which it was repainted into RF 2-tone grey. September 1994 saw it renumbered to 37331, but less than a year
after that it became yet another loco Stored as "unserviceable" (March 1995) and by 1998 becomes "component recovery" allocated. Withdrawn
from stock by 1999 (while stored at Doncaster TMD) and by 2002 is very much stripped of any useful items (including several side panels),
then finally the remains were cut up (by HNRC) at Barrow Hill on 21-08-2003. |
