One final view of the mill, looking northwest. During its heyday this mill would have been a hive of activity, as not only did it handle Allt Ddu (and Chwarel Fawr) output but also a vast amount of Dinorwig product - so much so that (as already mentioned) at times the mill at Allt Ddu was forced to take slate from here for processing in order to relieve the strain, then haul the finished product back up here so that it could be taken down the lower 'A' series inclines for dispatching along the Padarn Railway!
