Finally, my last pic choice is one from 1987 showing a swollen Afon Cwmorthin tumbling down through the site from Llyn Cwmorthin above. Yet again this was taken during a visit to Cwmorthin during wet & windy weather - my motto always used to be "it's raining so we might as well go to Cwmorthin as it's easy to get at!"
